Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Host", or "Guild Owner") and the developers and operators of ovun ("the Bot", "we", "us", "our"), accessible via Discord and our official domain at ovun-bot.radu.ink.

By adding ovun to your Discord server, interacting with giveaway components (such as clicking the 🎉 Enter button), executing slash commands, or configuring server settings, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2. Compliance with Discord Terms

ovun operates strictly as an approved third-party integration on the Discord platform. You agree that your use of ovun will at all times comply with:

• The Discord Terms of Service
• The Discord Community Guidelines
• The Discord Developer Terms of Service

Any attempt to utilize ovun to violate Discord policies (including raiding, malicious automation, or distribution of prohibited content) will result in immediate blacklisting.

3. Giveaway Mechanics & Host Obligations

ovun provides algorithmic and interface tools to facilitate giveaways. Regarding all giveaway events:

• Prize Fulfillment: The individual or guild administration initiating a giveaway ("Host") bears 100% legal and moral responsibility for fulfilling, distributing, and delivering the promised prize. ovun does not provide, sponsor, endorse, or verify third-party prizes.
• Fair RNG Draws: ovun draws winners using native cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generators (crypto.randomInt). Results are immutable once generated, unless an authorized host explicitly issues a reroll command.
• No Real-Money Gambling: ovun is strictly a community promotional tool. You may NOT use ovun to operate paid raffles, pay-to-enter lotteries, illegal sports betting, or any form of unlicensed commercial gambling.
• Entry Requirements: Hosts may enforce requirements (e.g. required roles or minimum account age). Users who bypass or attempt to manipulate these criteria are subject to disqualification.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following harmful behaviors:

• Using multiple alternate accounts (alts), automated userbots, or script injectors to artificially inflate giveaway entry counts.
• Spamming, DDoS-ing, or intentionally attempting to overwhelm ovun's API, SQLite database, or Discord Gateway connection.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in the bot infrastructure.
• Advertising fraudulent giveaways, scams, phish links, crypto-drainers, or malicious downloads.
• Claiming to be an official developer, staff member, or partner of ovun without express authorization.

5. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep ovun online 24/7/365 with high performance and automated crash recovery. However, the service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.

We reserve the right to deploy updates, conduct maintenance, modify slash commands, or terminate bot availability at our discretion without liability.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ovun and its developers (including Radu and contributors) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Failure of a server host to provide or deliver promised giveaway prizes.
• Discord API rate limits, outages, gateway disconnections, or platform downtime.
• Loss of server settings, giveaway entries, or cached records due to hardware failure or force majeure.

7. Enforcement & Blacklisting

We reserve the right to refuse service, restrict command access, or globally blacklist any Discord User ID or Guild ID found in violation of these Terms or suspected of malicious abuse, without prior notice.
